• Good morning, Springfield High! Today is Tuesday, March 24

  • Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays the  Peace Room is  open and available to students for support in the Guidance Office-8:30-9am and 11:30-2pm.  

  • Tutoring is available for all students.  Normal tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays continues from 3:30-4:30 in room 160.  In addition, tutoring is also now available on Wednesdays from 2:30-3:30 in room 114.

  • The Springfield Public Schools’ Board of Education invites interested incoming high school seniors (current juniors)  to apply to become the 2026-2027 Student Representative to the Board of Education. One incoming senior will be chosen to serve as the Student Representative during the upcoming school year. Additional information and the application can be found at: https://forms.gle/Kh1aKBbeoE7gvwXi8. The submission deadline is 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2026. 

  • The baseball team scored only one run and had no hits, but pulled out a 1 to nothing shutout victory over the Eagles of Dunlap. Caiden Bietsch was the star of the show, going 6 strong innings on the mound allowing only 2 hits and 1 walk. Alex Heyen came on in the 7th to close the win and seal the deal on the combined pitching gem by striking out 2 of the 3 batters he retired in order. Wade Snyder scored the lone Solon run in the 2nd on a walk followed by a wild pitch and an error on a hard hit ball by Carter Magalis. Next up for the Senators is a 4:30 contest today at Robin Roberts Stadium.  

  • Volleyball players not participating in a Spring sport, there will be off season work outs in the new weight room today and Thursday , after school until 4:45 PM. If you have questions, contact Coach Sturm.

  • Senators show responsibility for their grades and future success.  You and only You are responsible for your grades.  Use a planner and set aside time everyday for homework and studying.  As we start the 4th quarter, set a specific goal that can help you to achieve higher and complete the daily tasks you need to meet your goals and finish the year strong.
